Homobifunctional reagents
Homobifunctional crosslinkers with identical reactive groups at opposite ends of the spacer for intramolecular crosslinks and chemical crosslinking of macromolecular chains. They can possess long spacer arms for coupling large proteins or to overcome steric hindrance on the way to reactive side-chains of biomolecules.
